This was part of my blog posts earlier this year. Decluttering your life one closet, car, pantry, and makeup drawer at a time. I’ve been on this “cleanse” for a month now and it feels so good! I still have a few more spaces to go through, but the progress has been calming and uplifting, all at the same time.
I started with my closet. I take out a couple bags every few months, keep only what I’m currently wearing and give away everything else I haven’t worn or won’t anymore. I don’t throw anything in the trash by the way; I give it away to family, friends and those in need in Armenia. I later moved on to my shoe closet and emptied that out, then my kitchen pantry (which is way too small and inconvenient for anyone), then to Kats drawers and all the clothes she can’t fit in anymore, her toys, husbands closet, bathroom cabinets, and any other drawer/closet I found in my house
I later moved onto my Elcie office and emptied out 3 boxes of Makeup I’ve been sent; which I took to the girls at my studio to be able to use on their clients. While I was organizing them at the studio, I emptied out THOSE Makeup drawers and refreshed them, cleaned out the receptionist drawers, color room cabinets and the entire kitchen! Oh and not to forget, cleansing out my phone: I uploaded and backed up 15k photos and deleted them off my phone. When I tell you I’ve been on a cleanse...I’ve been on a cleanse!
In other words...it’s been a tiring and busy few weeks lol. Not only cleansing is good because you declutter and have a sense of calmness and organization around but I’ve found it to be very therapeutic. When I’m decluttering physical things out of my life, I simultaneously declutter my mind; I think of all the junk in my head and I toss it away with the physical junk I don’t need anymore. When I’m organizing physical things, I’m simultaneously organizing my thoughts and getting everything in order; I file away what I don’t currently need and bring up to surface the things that I really want and need and those that matter - the keepers!
We are constantly filling our minds with garbage throughout the day. Whether it’s something we saw on tv, social media, heard through a friend, or just things we create in our minds...although only natural, it clouds it from all the things we SHOULD be thinking about and filling our minds with. Most of you already know I enjoy a good read every so often. I read at least a few chapters of an inspiring, motivational or uplifting book each night before I sleep. Reading being the last thing I do before I go to bed...I go to sleep with only positive thoughts in my mind and wake up with a fresh mood and attitude. I used to scroll through my phone every night before I slept and I believe that’s one of the worst things you can do. In fact, I wake up now and have a cup of coffee and enjoy my morning with Kat before I even look at my phone. It’s seriously been such a life changing start and finish to my every day and highly, HIGHLY recommend it.
What do you do to declutter your life & thoughts? Any rituals you have? Would love to hear your thoughts.
I used to go on Snapchat and talk to my followers 30 minutes to an hour at a time. I used to write up blog posts about the smoothies I made or my weekend with my family. I used to write up reviews on new products. I used to be more “connected”. And when I say “used to”, it seems like years ago and although it’s only been a few months, it’s been too long and I miss you guys. I stay as connected as possible with Instagram, but even then, I let it slip sometimes.
But the real questions is, how in the world are we in June?! Every month I think, NEXT month it’ll be better, NEXT month I’m free and I’m still trying to catch up with that “NEXT” month. Between meetings in New York, Italy & Chicago in 4 months, between Elcie, Lilit Makeup Studio, Youtube & Family, I haven’t had the chance to connect. Sometimes I think that it’s ok & that we should allow ourselves to disconnect and LIVE every so often; but when I do, I feel guilty and feel as though I’ve neglected my followers and that’s not fair either! So for those who always ask, “How do you balance it all?” - I’m still trying to figure it out
Staying active is really important for any Influencer. We need to always stay relevant, create good content and be creative. It doesn’t seem so complicated right? Believe me, it’s work! A simple makeup look takes time to do, takes time to catch good lighting, take enough photos, find one you like, editing, etc. For a mom with a business to run, this is 3x more difficult. I absolutely LOVE makeup and when I’m not creative I miss it and get mad at myself for it. So it’s basically this vicious cycle of me trying to catch up in one category or another.
However, I don’t want this to come off as a complaint! I HATE complaining and have completely shifted my mind to be the most optimist person I can be. But, I did want to catch up with you guys and give you a little insight on where I’ve been and tell you that I miss you.
Elcie has been kicking my butt. Having your own brand is a blessing and although I love every second of it, it’s more work than the 3 jobs I used to have at the same time! The stress level and the daily struggles are beyond; but it truly drives me and makes me want to work harder to become the best at what I do.
I have a LOT to update you guys on and in due time, I hope to be able to share it. I love you guys and hope that you’re all doing so well! I’m making an active decision to come back to this board soon, till then, share with me! Comment and share how your life’s been? I want to hear from you.
My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend on a last minute local trip. We really wanted to spend time with Kat and do things that she would enjoy & not just things WE enjoy! My friend Viola said it best, "Who do we think we are? Thinking we can do fancy lunches" We assume we can live the life we had before and that it will be "instagram" beautiful with the kids sitting in their high chairs, proper and appropriate. Absolutely not! That is not ideal with a 2 year old, well, most 2 year olds. We did that easily till she was about ONE, then she started to walk and it was over from there lol. What we SHOULD be doing is taking them places they can run buck-wild and truly have fun! So my husband and I try to think of random things to do so that she can have a good time - we enjoy her smiles more than anything.
The flower field falls right behind an awesome shopping outlet and 5 minutes from the Straweberry field! In other words, take the day off and make a visit. Once we finally got some photos in and let Kat run around aimlessly, we drove to the Strawberry field. This was truly the most amazing experience with our babygirl! Reminded us both of times we used to do this with our grandparents in their backyards when we were kids. And Kat? She loved it! As most of you know, Kat is obsessed with Strawberies. Can you imagine her? She didn’t know which one to pick! She was picking and eating every single one, even the white and green ones lol. Side note: do NOT take your nice shoes, you’re going to get dirt all over them. Let’s not even talk about the mess Kat was in...omg! Let’s just say, we’re taking our car for a detail wash tomorrow. On a brighter note, the strawberries were delicious and the experience, memorable.
...at least one week at a time. One of my New Years resolutions was to keep a “To-Do List”. Although I’ve been doing exceptionally well with that, I was lacking a to-do list for life, outside of work. I feel as though I keep telling myself there’s things I need to do with my personal life; but apparently, it’s things I never have time for, or so I think.
In reality, some of these things are more important than work and some are just things that make you feel like you have your LIFE together, if done. Too often we say “tomorrow” and too often it never gets done. You are not alone my friend; we are all on the same boat! So I started making a to-list list every single week of things I need to get done that have nothing to do with work! I can’t tell you how good I feel every time I delete a task from my notes. I feel accomplished!
Below is this weeks to-do list. Does it look something like yours?
Some of these sounds mediocre, I know. But how many of us miss our annual gyno check ups? It’s so much more important than any job! I was out with my friends Teni and Angie yesterday and this conversation came up. One of Teni’s friends hadn’t gone for a checkup in such a long time that by the time she went, she was in too deep with an issue that had arised. Honestly, a year is not that long - we blink and it’s a New Year. So make a to-do list and get all your health checkups on a regular basis!
Dental appointment - we all hate it, but all it takes is one appointment. One of my teeth broke when I was pregnant with Kat. The broken tooth never bothered me, it didn’t hurt so I just forgot about it. I finally went to the dentist last week to find out I need a root canal - dammit! My dentist asked “Have I really not seen you for 3 years?!” I couldn’t believe that’s the last I visited him! I was so ashamed. I go for a cleaning every 4 months prescheduled with a hygienist, so to me, I’ve been going to the densit. So no, I haven’t really gone for my check ups. I could have prevented the root canal! Now it’s a bigger headache...better yet, toothache, in this case.
Kats toys have piled up beyond control! I cannot step into her room without banging my foot against something or stepping on something! I keep telling myself I need to clean it out and it never happens. Ugh, it takes time to go through what she plays with and what she doesn’t! But, it needs to be done. Simple yet a drag.
Printing out Elcie Articles for wall art! We moved into the Elcie office over a year ago and I have yet to design it. We moved in, got busy and that was that. I didn’t have time to decorate or do anything cute to my office. I literally have a desk and a chair and that is it. All I have to do is go to cvs.com upload the articles and click print and have it be delivered. Why has it taken me so long?!
Washing Makeup brushes, ugh! Am I the only one who finds this annoying? I have better things to do than sit there and wash my makeup brushes. Ladies, washing your makeup brushes is a must! You can clean them with brush cleaner every so often but at least once a month - wash them! It’s sanitary and healthier for your skin.
I did that to-do list this morning and in a matter of Kat napping for 3 hours, I got it all done, except cleaning out her toys! I feel so relaxed and relieved! Take time to make notes of things that you need to take care of every week that include physical and mental health! You come first. Who else makes to-do lists. Are they daily? Weekly? Monthly? I’d love to hear!
If you follow me on Snapchat, then you know that I stopped buying tangible gifts for my husband. For starters, he's a very difficult man to buy a gift for. Second, he's returned everything I've ever bought him in the last 4 years lol. So I have started to buy him "experiences", such as lunch on a daytime cruise, weekend getaway to Santa Barbara, wood working classes (his passion) and so on. On Feb.9, he turned 38 and it was time for a new "experience"; so I purchased a weekend getaway to Temecula. Not only did I book a last minute getaway, but most importantly, a hot air balloon ride! I was SO excited for this because I thought it would be beautiful, special and something he has never done before.
We made a weekend out of it because we had to be at the hot air balloon location 5:30 in the morning. There was no way we were driving out at 3am (about 2 hours away from where I live) but, we also love wine tasting, so we spent all of Saturday vineyard hopping and enjoying our time together. Comes Sunday morning, we wake up 4am, get ready and head out to the location. It was dark, foggy and not a soul in sight for a good 5 minutes (super freaky) until we got to the meet-up location. When everyone joining showed up, we got in a van and went to the actual flight location. Basically, the pilots had to test out the wind for speed and direction and just take all safety precautions before we headed up. At this point, the fog was still pretty heavy, so the pilots decided to test out another location about 20 minutes away. Once we got to the second location, the fog was even heavier and still not safe enough. Then we drove another 30 minutes away as they tested the wind and fog some more. After 2.5 hours of testing and driving around, it was a NO-GO! I couldn't believe it. They had a "Happy Birthday" banner they were going to put up on the basket, with champagne and cake as we all sang for him! My husbands birthday surprise was ruined. I was so upset and annoyed...but what are you gonna do? To get a better idea of what I was describing, see below pictures. Top picture is what it was supposed to look like...and bottom is what it actually looked like!
How sad does that look right? On a brighter note, it ended up being a beautiful day and they even served a little breakfast with mimosas. Champagne always makes things better right? lol. Anyways, not sure if we will go back because this was supposed to be for his birthday, but we'll see! If you do end up going, go more towards Spring or early Fall, it will be a beautiful morning. We stayed at Carter Estates, which had little bungalows you can rent out. We had a little living room, fireplace and a beautiful view of the vineyard. Of course, there was no grapes yet as it wasn't the season, but they did say they start growing it sometime in March.
Lucky for me, I had bought him another Birthday gift months ago! I had been dying to see Lara Fabian LIVE in concert for over a decade (ok fine I had a little selfishness with this gift). I'm not sure when she was here last, but I totally missed it. I found out she will be in LA and thought it would be a great gift since it was 2 days away from his Birthday and he's a fan of her too. So, we drove back from Temecula, spent some time with our Kat (whom we missed SO much), put her to sleep and headed out to the concert. I have to say, her concert wasn't what we expected. We are a huge fan of her french songs and she sang more of her english songs. She didn't sing my favorite song in the world, Caruso, which is BEST sung by her! And her outfit choices... were plain old confusing and unflattering. I expected her to come out barefoot, in her flowey dress with loose curly effortless hair. However, when she sang Je Suis Malade, Je T'aime and Adagio , it made it ALL worth it! She got a standing ovation for every one of her songs - the reason people came to see her. If you haven't heard of her...get ready to fall in love.
And that was the end of my husbands Bday weekend; at the end, it all worked out. I am so glad I had a backup plan! lol. However, father's day is creeping up slowly and I would love to hear some ideas from you guys! Leave a comment and share what experiences you recommend! Till next time, Xoxo.
When I was approached about an interview for WWD Magazine, I couldnt believe it. Not because I don’t feel I deserve it or I feel I have doubts about my brand but because I never dreamt it. It was too big, too far... a feature in one of the leading magazines for fashion and beauty? Ugh! Dream, I tell you! When you’ve worked so hard for so long and then someone like WWD recognizes it - it melts your heart. However, I do owe it to all my followers, fans & customers. Without you guys, I would not be where I am and I would never have this feature. So although this feature was a dream come true, YOU helped me built this dream and I am forever thankful for you.

Happy belated New Year everyone! Hope it was an amazing memorable time for you all! It was kind of a slow start for me unfortunately. I welcomed in the New Year with a high fever, headache, body ache and throwing up...gross, I know. All I really wanted to do was stay miserably in bed hoping the meds kick in for longer than 20 minutes. I got the flu and it seems like its been going around, so please be careful! It is day 5 and I am finally up on my feet today. As I laid there doing absolutely nothing for days, I was coming up with my New Years "healthy" resolutions in my head. Funny enough, I was so sick that I couldn't eat anything heavy so all I've had is soups, oatmeal, veggies, vitamins, tea and a whole lot of water - thanks to my husband! I feel like this really jump started my health kick and due to being so sick, inspired me to do better and be better this year! Here are the top 7 habits that I will be pursuing this year:
Of course this had to be number one! I am signing up to a gym once again because I haven't worked out since before Kat was born. I had a trainer and worked out 3 times a week for 2 years before she was born and I never looked or felt better! If you feel you will have a hard time committing, get a trainer - I promise its the best thing you can do! Even on my laziest days, I would run to the gym because I know my trainer would be waiting of me. Eventually, it became a habit. Once you see results, you will not want to quit! I am not just talking about your body; having a beautiful body is a plus but you need to work out for your health & mental well being!
2. Eat Clean
I know this is easier said than done. Truth is, unless everyone around you is doing it, its hard for you to stay on track! Lucky for me, Kat eats super healthy and my husband is just as ambitious as I am. It all starts from what you have in your home. They say to never go to the market hungry, I say you should! Go get everything you would need in your house for a week or two so that you always have something to make and munch on! We start ordering out and eating crappy foods when we start to run low on home goods. Buy some healthy crackers/chips for when you want some salty snacks, get your quinoa and lentil pasta (instead of regular pasta) for when you want the carbs, get chicken breasts and ground turkey and keep them in your freezer, and of course all your fruits and veggies. I will do another blog post with a food breakdown. Have enough in your home, take it to your work, add snacks to your purse...you won't even think about eating junk!
I know this one is a boring one, but it is such a easy habit to make! Why do we have such a hard time doing it? For me, I forget to drink water. The only way I remember to drink water is if I have a big bottle with me all day that I know I need to finish drinking. If you hate the taste of water, add some flavoring in there, such as cucumber, lemon, strawberry or mint - pick your flavor! I noticed I also drink less water when I drink more coffee. I usually have 2-3 cups of coffee a day. I haven't had coffee now for FIVE days! Can you believe it? When I got sick, the smell or even the sight of coffee was making my nauseous. I'm sure I won't reject coffee forever, but definitely replacing my coffee cups with water throughout the day.
This one is a huge one for me. 2017 was definitely sleepless, from Kats nighttime cries to working late on my computer till wee hours in the night. Luckily, I trained Kat back to her regular sleeping schedule real quick and have learned to sleep early. My mind and my body taught me that with good sleep, I will have more energy all day instead of running on low battery. I also stopped watching tv series that prevent you from sleeping at nights! Funny that we have to make "sleep" a habit, but I know I am not the only one!
Some of you may wonder why reading has anything to do with health? However, we are not just talking about physical health, but mental health. I have been doing a lot of reading in 2017 and it has truly changed me. Change that you may not notice but change in the way I perceive things, react to things, feel towards things...a paradigm shift. I feel mentally healthier! Reading books, especially inspirational ones, motivate you on the daily! Along with that, I believe reading you not only feeds your brain but keeps you away from nonsense you would be paying attention to otherwise.
6. To-Do List
We all have this, in our heads. Start writing things down! Every night, write your list of things to do the next day. Making a to-do list helps keep you focused and organized. No matter what is going on our day, no matter how distracted you are, make sure you get to your list. You will feel better every time you cross an item off! If you can, get a weekly & monthly to-do list going as well. This can be little goals that you can add that will help you reach an ultimate goal. Visually seeing what you want will be a constant reminder.
7. Phone & TV
Now I really sound like a mom! But really, turn off the TV, put down your phone and pay attention! Pay attention to your husband, your child, your friends and the conversations. I absolutely hate being on my phone when I am hanging out with friends/family, unless I absolutely have to! Phones distract us way too much and hardly ever in a good way. Even television! I allow myself to watch a series every now & then and its usually when my baby is sleeping and my husband isn't home. We can be doing so many more productive things if we just limit the electronics. Even my 20 month old is obsessed and constantly wants to watch her cartoons! What has this world come to? I now only let her watch a little bit in the morning or when I am trying to feed her and that is it!
They say it takes 21 days to make a habit...whose with me? Are there any habits you think I've missed? Please do share!
The years are rolling by so quickly aren't they? I feel like just yesterday I was writing my NYE 2017 blog post. Every year we make the same New Year's resolutions...to start working out, set career goals, be a better US, "good vibes only"! It's crazy that we wait until a new year rolls along to commit to things. But do we remember these things as the months go by? Not so much. We stop working out (most of us), stop eating healthy, get caught up in our day-to-day jobs, let the bs stress us on the daily and we sometimes even become that negative energy were trying to run away from. Why? because life. Life is not always fun and easy. Life, in fact, is a spinning globe. Nothing can make our world stop spinning (at least I hope not) and that is all we need to know. When trauma or drama happens...within time, you will be forced to move on. When good things happen...you will be forced to move on from those as well. This year was nothing short of stress, drama and negative incidents; but just like the "Subtle Art of Not Giving a F!&$" says, "deal with it and move on!" I know it is easier said than done, but if you really think about it, what are your other options? More negative energy in our lives. I kept my focus on the good at all times and did not let myself get sidetracked.
I cleansed a lot this year. Cleansed my closet consistently (sounds mediocre I know but something about this makes us feel good doesn't it?), cleansed my mind of irrelevant and unimportant things and most importantly cleansed my life & the people I surround myself with. I feel like all these things happen naturally to us correct? But some of us keep living in the past and are still focused on things that should not matter! I learned that I come first and that a little bit of selfishness is in fact a good thing. DO WHAT YOU WANT this year, do what makes YOU happy and don't you dare feel bad about it. As of this year, I don't consider myself as a makeup artist anymore - I am a beauty lover, influencer and a business owner, Did this make some people mad? Yes. Have they been through what I've been through with 15 hour days, no sleep, no social life for 15 years? Probably not. Be a little selfish - do what makes you happy! I will repeat this over and over again.
This year, my focus was my family and my business - that is it. Make sure my family is happy & healthy and my business moving forward. I won't even begin to explain what Kat does to me and my husband; just her smile alone helps us start our day. She's a year and a half now and comes to my bed every morning and cuddles in my arms for an hour. I kid you not! The child that hates to cuddle has learned to show her emotions and it makes my heart melt. Having a child changes you so much, you question who you were in the past. I know a child is not easy for everyone but have faith in God and know there is a purpose and a time for everything that happens in our lives. And single moms - I bow to you!
As for 2018, I have so many goals! But I live it day by day and take it as it comes. Set goals but don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen right away. Read the "Alchemist" - you'll get what I mean. If you really want something, say it to yourself every day and keep pushing forward. Life is a beautiful thing and we need to cherish every moment and everyone in our lives. Keep your standards and your head high! Dream, dream big and WORK! You’ll get there. I wish you all a prosperous, healthy, beautiful 2018. I can't tell you how much I love and adore my followers...you made me who I am.
It's the most Wonderful time of the year! It sure is, until you're out last minute Christmas shopping because you were out living your life and procrastinating on the stress of buying gifts for everyone you know! Except if you're like me, you spend hours at the mall only to come back with 5/8 gifts. Sometimes, I even buy things just to buy SOMETHING because I become desperate and am short on time. BUT when you have found the right gift, how happy does it make you feel when you give it? I have come up a top 10 list of the Ultimate Holiday Gifts that are both useful and gender friendly! Most importantly, these are all easy purchases online ;)
Amazon Echo is a hot commodity! Her name is Alexa and does anything you ask her to; play the music you want, plays audiobooks, reads news briefs, calls or messages for you, calendar, weather, traffic, sports and so much more. For $79.99, absolutely worth it! But if this is out of your budget, you can purchase Echo Dot which is pretty much the same thing, except you connect to your own speaker and goes for $29.99.
Extend Your Life Battery
For most of us, our phone is our life. Personally, I don't walk to the kitchen without it or even the bathroom. There, I said it. Most of us can relate that using your phone at 3% by 12pm is frustrating! I feel truly angry and frustrated if my phone dies...as if the worst possible thing has just happened. Last year, I complained so much that I was constantly stuck to the wall charger, that two of my friends got me external chargers for my Birthday lol. I can safely say, BEST GIFT EVER! I cannot live without my external charger now. I charge my phone, friends phones, Kitty Kats iPad if were out...what a relief! I have the Anker one from Amazon and the great thing about it is they have various ones at various prices so it makes a great gift option.
Soothe Your Soul
I have been seeing this all over the place! Social media, peoples homes, spas... and everyone who has it, absolutely loves it. If you haven't seen this before, it is an essential oil diffuser and cool mist humidifier. This is a great gift for anyone at any age! My little Kat has a humidifier and sometimes I bring it to my room when my allergy kicks in and my nose gets stuffy. Humidifiers not only help you sleep better but also soothe dry, chapped skin! Add a few drops of any essential oil you like to calm your senses while its on. I love this one because its nice and chic (some are really ugly and you literally need to hide it behind a lamp) and it is BPA free! This VicTsing goes for $34.99 - such a great gift!
Girl, Put Your Records On...
Tell me your favorite song! *insert Corinne Bailey Rae* So I gifted myself this same exact Record Player from Urban Outfitters. I was at my cousins house a few weeks ago and he had one and fell in love with it. I remembered seeing it at some point at Urban, went in the next day and grabbed this Crosley one. Of course, along with the Frank Sinatra Holiday Songs record. I have been playing it at my house every day since then, haha! I am totally in the Holiday Spirit this year. This is such an amazing gift for anyone! For $169...you get a beautifully embossed pleather travel record player. If you don't want to spend that much, go for the basic, no-design one for only $99. Oh, and it comes in many colors!
Robes for the Win!
Robes are one of those things you think you don't need until you have one. There are hundreds if not, thousands, on the market. However, I am obsessed with my Kassatex Spa Robe I got 3 years ago when I was getting married. I wanted his and hers robes (honesty, just comes in one color lol) and gray seemed ideal. I went to Vegas around that time and stayed at the, then new, SLS Hotel & Casino; not only did I fall in love with the decor and ambiance, but the robes! It was soft and plush on the inside with a smooth microfiber exterior. I have also come across these at many spas and every time, I don't want to take it off. Now I know $89.99 may seem a lot, but I have had it almost 3 years now and the quality is top notch. You can wear this out the shower, as it absorbs the water, or wear it over your pjs on colder winter days. My husband and I are both obsessed.
Cheese Board Galore!
This is another one of those gifts that’s perfect for the Holidays. You wouldn’t get someone a cheese board for their Birthday; but somehow the Holidays are perfect for it lol. If you know me, you know I am cheese boarding on the daily! Something about Cheese & Wine - whose not a fan? It’s a great way to entertain your guests if you’re not going all out with dinner. And believe me, these cheese platters become an obsession, particulary the Anthropologie ones! They have so many beautiful ones, from wood to marble with gold accents as even carvings of puppy’s for your animal lover friend. Great thing about cheese boards is it has a various price range and you can always pair it with a bottle of wine or a cook/entertain book.
A Gift of a Lifetime.
Whether someone is a reader or not, one can always be inspired by a new book. However, choosing the right book may be the difficult part. Every person as different interests, likes & hobbies. If you ask me, Motivational books will never do you wrong. Everyone needs constant motivation in their life - whether its business, relationship, parenthood, personal goals, etc. This is a great idea as a gift because you can make it super personal, you can buy 1, 2 or 5 and you really are giving a gift of a lifetime. Who throws books away? no one. At some point, they will pick it up and read it (if they're not a reader) and now they have that information in their heads for the rest of their life. And if they're not a reader at all, get them a beautiful coffee table book :) I have SO many recommendations but I am going to give you my top three for now: A New Earth, The Alchemist & The Art of War.
But First, Skin.
There are so many skincare collections available, especially around the Holidays. I, myself, am a skincare freak and I am always receiving and buying more. I have found a collection that is safe for all skin types, good for both genders and truly a good skincare line. In this Starter Kit, you have all of Kiehls best selling skincare products for only $52. If someone is not into skincare, this is a good start and if they love skincare, then they know whats up! You get the Ultra Facial Cleanser, Ultra Facial Cream, Avocado Eye Cream, Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Line Reducing Concentrate. I think I may get myself one...
Candles Can't Do No Wrong.
Really, who doesn’t love candles? From the delicious scents to the beautiful decorative packaging. There are thousands of candles on the market, but we wouldn’t mind a nice Jo Malone or Diptique as a luxury gift. Mainly because I don’t think we usually buy expensive candles for ourselves? However, people know the value. But of course if you’re not up for spending the buck on a candle, you have other nice (still somewhat luxury) candles such as Votivo, Voluspa or Elcie ;) Voluspa always does mini collections for the Holidays for a great price! And if you’re really not into the candle nonsense, Bath & Body Works can do no wrong!
Digitize Your Life in One Frame
I almost added "Frame with a Customized Photo" as my last option; but I also thought...I have so many frames with photos I've never printed or old photos that I keep meaning to change and never do. People just don't print photos anymore unfortunately. I do however have one of these Digital Frames in my house and the photos change from a year ago to photos from a month ago. I use the same chip for my camera for Kat and when I am not using the camera, I plug in the chip and let it flip through. We are reminded daily of when Kat was born, our wedding, and trips we took. Even when guests come over, they are distracted by the photos because we don't really instagram everything. It really is a great gift you can give someone that will actually make use out of it, along with helping them keep their memories alive on the daily.
I hope this gift guide was super helpful to you guys! If you guys have any other ideas of the perfect gift, please comment, share and let us know! Happy Holidays!
